Test the complete order flow before going live: product, customer, payment.
Why test before launching
Before sending your payment link to real customers, make sure everything works: the right price shows up, the confirmation email fires, the invoice gets generated. Two minutes now, zero surprises later.
Create a test order
Two options:
Option 1: via the Getting Started wizard
In the "Getting Started" section, click "Test order". The wizard creates an order automatically with your demo customer.
Option 2: manually
Go to Orders → New order. Pick a customer, pick a product, confirm. Payment is simulated (no real charge until you’re in live mode).
Verify the result
After your test order, check:
- The order shows up in Orders with the right status
- The payment shows up in Payments
- Your customer got a confirmation email (check spam)
- The invoice is generated and accessible from the order
FAQ
Does the test order charge real money?
No. Until you connect Stripe and activate live mode, no real payment goes through. Test as much as you want.
