Organize products with categories
Create categories to organize your products and improve storefront navigation on NoCode.shop.
Create a category
Go to Products → Categories. Hit New category and fill in:
- Name — what your customers see in storefront navigation
- Description (optional) — a short text about what’s in the category
Save. It’s live and ready for product assignment.
Assign products to a category
Open a product in the editor, pick one or more categories. A product can live in multiple categories — a cooking ebook can show up in both "Ebooks" and "Cooking."
How categories show on your storefront
Categories appear in your storefront’s nav bar. Customers filter by category to find what they want fast. Especially useful with 5+ products.
Reorder categories from the Categories page to control display order.
When to create categories
Categories make sense once you have 4–5 products. For 1–3, the default storefront works fine. Think from the customer’s perspective: "By type" (courses, ebooks, coaching) or "By topic" (marketing, finance, productivity).
