Available payment methods
Overview of payment methods on NoCode.shop: card payments via Stripe, SEPA direct debit via GoCardless, and manual payments.
Card payments via Stripe
The main payment method. By connecting Stripe, you accept:
- Visa and Mastercard: all debit and credit cards.
- American Express: accepted automatically (slightly higher fees on Stripe’s side).
- Apple Pay and Google Pay: available if you enable them in your Stripe dashboard. The payment form shows them automatically to compatible devices.
Customers enter card details on a secure Stripe-hosted form (Stripe Elements). NoCode.shop never sees card numbers.
SEPA direct debit via GoCardless
Connect GoCardless and your European customers can pay by bank debit. They provide their IBAN and sign a SEPA mandate online.
Great for subscriptions: no card expiration, lower failure rates. Processing time: 2–5 business days.
Manual payments (bank transfer, check, cash)
Some customers prefer bank transfer, check, or cash. NoCode.shop doesn’t process these automatically, but you can record them manually.
Go to Orders → select the order → Register external payment. Pick the method and the payment shows up in your history.
Payment links
Generate a payment link to share via email, SMS, social media, or QR code. Customer clicks, lands on your checkout page with the product already selected.
Payment goes through Stripe or GoCardless based on what the customer picks.
What your customers see at checkout
On your checkout page, customers see the payment methods you’ve enabled. If both Stripe and GoCardless are connected, two options show up: card and SEPA direct debit. Customer picks one and pays in a single step.
