Create a manual order

Create an order manually from your NoCode.shop dashboard: phone sales, in-person deals, or migrating from another platform.

When to create a manual order

Manual orders come in handy in a few situations:

  • Phone sales — customer orders over a call and you create it for them
  • In-person sales — at an event, trade show, or face-to-face meeting
  • Migration — importing customers from another platform and recreating their orders
  • Free access — giving someone complimentary access to a product or service

How to create one

To create a manual order:

  1. Go to Orders from the main menu
  2. Click New order top right
  3. Pick an existing customer or create a new one
  4. Choose the product from your list
  5. Review and confirm

The order lands with Pending status. The customer gets an email with a payment link to finalize.

What happens next

A manual order works exactly like a regular one once payment is made. The customer gets the payment link by email and completes online.

If they don’t finalize, resend the link from the order detail via Actions → Send pending order link.

For subscriptions, renewals and billing kick in automatically after the first payment.

FAQ

Does the customer still need to pay online?
Yes. They get a payment link by email to finalize. Payment goes through Stripe or GoCardless, which saves the payment method for future renewals.
Can I create an order without emailing the customer?
No. The customer automatically gets an email with the payment link when you create the order. It’s needed to register the payment securely.
